In the context of the complicated and stressful epidemic situation of the Covid-19 outbreak, AIT’s staffs are determined to overcome the dangers of the epidemic to install free hand washing stations for the front lines of prevention.
Realizing that hand hygiene is the most important measure besides social distancing at home to prevent the risk of infection, AIT gave advice, came to work and persuaded agencies to join. The project and INAX jointly plan to manufacture and install hand washing stations at 5 major hospitals across the country, including: St. Paul General Hospital, Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, and Vietnam Friendship Hospital. Nam, Tu Du Hospital, Cho Ray Hospital.
Although some hospitals such as Obstetrics and Gynecology and Saint Paul Hospital already have their own isolation areas, AIT researches and proposes a plan to design handwashing stations suitable with the hope of serving doctors, medical staff and people in today’s era the earliest time.
In less than 2 weeks, AIT has designed, manufactured and installed 15 high quality standard hand washing stations in HCMC and Hanoi. Hand washing stations have been serving the public since mid-April.
It is hoped that AIT and INAX will join hands to support health systems to help strengthen the prevention of the Covid 19 pandemic during the unpredictable epidemic situation.
