Honda EMC 2020 – A challenging playground for future engineers
Honda EMC is one of Honda’s most anticipated eco-driving competitions. The contest has been held in many different countries such as Japan, Thailand and China… During 11 years of being held in Vietnam, the contest has created a great buzz in the technical world. Besides, this contest has also become a playground that receives much love from young technology enthusiasts.
After many rounds of Honda selection, AIT Group has officially become the unit responsible for organizing the Honda EMC contest. On July 25 and 26, 2020, the final round of the Honda EMC contest was successfully held at the National Convention Center.

The process of ideating, designing for the contest in the past 10 years
It can be said that Honda EMC is not only one of the big events of the Honda Vietnam brand, but for AIT Group, this is also a very special contest. In the first time co-organizing the program, AIT Group tried to create a very successful contest and once again the professionalism of AIT staff in the field of event organization was confirmed.
AIT’s design and engineer team has successfully built ideas and created 9 program areas with each specific activity for more than 2 months. 9 event areas include: Stage, contestant tent, information tent, sponsor tent for co-sponsor brands, vehicle inspection area, Vehicle parking lot, departure tent and return tent destination, track area.
These areas are all designed by AIT with a sturdy tent system, ensuring safety for participants even in hot or stormy weather.

When organizing the program, AIT always puts the coordination between personnel in each area on top. Thanks to the training to deal with arising situations, AIT staff always work together smoothly and make the program extremely successful.

In particular, on the last day, even though the Covid-19 situation suddenly became complicated, AIT still quickly implemented the best disease prevention plans, ensuring the safety of the contestants and audience.

With pressure from the previous 10 successful years of the contest, 100 employees of AIT Group have been working tirelessly to build a very successful Honda EMC 2020 contest with many creative contents.
Honda EMC 2020 and record numbers
Entering the 11th year, Honda Vietnam is proud to continue when it is able to bring a useful contest for more than 100 teams from provinces and cities across the country to participate in the Homemade car competition category. Honda EMC 2020 is also a contest with a record number of participating teams.
The teams participating in the program had to use all their energy, creativity and design skills to create a car that can travel the longest distance with 1 liter of gasoline.

In addition, the contest also marked with many other record numbers such as:
- 187 teams from all over the country
- 1 550 people organize / support at the program and participate in the competition
- 9 areas built for competition and 1 race track
- 1158622 km/l is an impressive number that decodes the question “How many kilometers can you go with 1 liter of gasoline?”
The final result Honda EMC 2020 has 13 best teams winning prizes in the categories for students, businesses and employees of Honda Vietnam.

At the end of the 11th season, EMC 202 has achieved many unexpected successes. AIT Group hopes to be honored to accompany Honda Vietnam to build EMC seasons in the coming years!
