Organizing successfully the Announcement Ceremony of the Helmet Donation Program for First Grade Students nationwide!
This is the third year that AIT has been selected to accompany Honda in giving 1 million quality helmets to first grade students nationwide.
On July 3, 2020, the Announcement Ceremony of the program of Donating helmets to 1st graders nationwide in the school year 2020-2021 with the theme “Holding your dreams” took place successfully in Hanoi.
The delegates together performed the announcement ceremony at the program.
The program is jointly implemented by Honda Vietnam, National Traffic Safety Committee, Ministry of Education and Training. AIT was selected as the unit that conceived and organized the program.
The event brought a meaningful gift to the 1st graders on the first day of school, with the hope that the helmet will be a friend to protect and accompany them on their way to school every day.
General Director of Honda Vietnam Keisuke Tsuruzono gave flowers and took souvenir photos with the students.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Truong Hoa Binh, Politburo member, Standing Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the National Traffic Safety Committee, Mr. Le Dinh Tho, Deputy Minister of Transport, Standing Vice Chairman of the Committee. National Traffic Safety Committee, representatives of the leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Transport, leaders of Honda Vietnam Company and reporters of central and Hanoi news agencies.

Let’s review the impressive numbers that the program has achieved in recent years:
- According to the survey, helmet wearing rate among children (6 to 15 years old) has increased from 35% in 2017 to 70% by the end of 2019.
- More than 1.9 million quality helmets will be given to first grade students during the opening of the new school year 2020-2021.
- After 2 years of organization, Honda has successfully awarded more than 4 million hats, aiming to increase the percentage of children wearing standard helmets to 80% this year.
